StageMaster is a theatre automation system that has been developed in Australia over the last 15 years. This work has involved many complex and varied shows, including the flying system for the Opening Ceremony for the Sydney Olympics 2000.
The following is a partial list of shows which have used the StageMaster system:
Wicked, Love Never Dies, Miss Saigon, Sunset Boulevard, Showboat, Crazy for You , Cats, South Pacific, West Side Story, Les Miserables, The Sound of Music, Shout, Mamma Mia!, Singing in The Rain, Grease, Lion King, We Will Rock You and The Wizard of OZ.
StageMaster is recognised in Australia and overseas for its ease of use and reliability. It has many features which greatly reduce the setting up and editing of cues. The system can be configured with several levels of back up/redundancy, to minimise the risk of failure impacting on the show.
" ..the StageMaster system had my utmost faith when I chose it for the flying control system for the Sydney 2000 Olympics. I reviewed several proposed systems and interviewed many operators and managers of installations before selecting StageMaster. For rehearsals, I needed something that was easy for my operator to operate, and quick for him to reprogram to the different directors ideas. For the Olympics I needed security that everything would function flawlessly and I got it."
Richard Hartman, Aerial Coordinator for Sydney 2000 Olympics
"StageMaster's front end is fantastic, I love it. It is the best automation system of any that I've used in Australia."
Chris Younger, Automation Operator for 'Mamma Mia!'
"APC's StageMaster system is the most versatile and user friendly automation system currently available in Australia."

Special Event Automation
Entertainment events can have their visual impact greatly enhanced with the application of StageMaster to flying scenery or people in 2D or 3D space. This can also apply to cameras or other devices on a flying platform. High speeds and accelerations are achievable using the StageMaster technology.
A good example of event automation was the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
